INGREDIENTS (make 20 – 24 tarts)

A. Pastry dough
230 g all purpose flour (2 cup minus 1 tbsp)
60 g icing sugar (1/2 cup)
1 medium egg
125 g (1 stick + 1 tbsp) unsalted butter – softened at room temperature
½ tsp vanilla extract (optional)

B. Custard filling
3 medium eggs
60 g (1/2 cup) icing sugar
120 ml (1/2 cup) whipping cream
240 ml (1 cup milk)
1 tsp vanilla extract
